3 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER FOR JUNE 23RD TO 25TH 2023
Theme: “REMOVING GENERATIONAL SPIRITS”
Theme Scriptures: Colossians 2: 14-15 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
Deuteronomy 28:12 “The Lord will open to you His good [b]treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”
Now it is God’s intention to bless His people, but the enemy will use what we do to bring about set back within our lives if we give him legal rights saints. God warned His people in the below scripture that if we disobey His word then a curse would come upon the people.
Deuteronomy 28:15 “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:”
Have you ever felt like you are living in a vicious circle? Even now you may be trying your best to solve a problem only to discover that every step you take is making the problem worse—or even creating new problems and you can’t seem to get out of the ditch you have found yourself in. If that is you, stop and ask yourself—is this a vicious circle or a demonic cycle? In other words, is one trouble in your life leading to another because of the classic law of cause and effect, a law that can easily snowball for better or worse? Or are you wrestling against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places? According to (Eph. 6:12)
Now this weekend’s fasting program we going to focus on generational curses, but specifically on three spirits that either work together in groupings or individually maybe similar in function to bring about stagnation within our lives. They will be The Vagabond Spirit, The Spirit of Pisgah (almost there) and The Spirit of Setback. But before we go ahead let us recap how these curses can be passed down the generational lines.
GENERATIONAL CURSE
Exodus 20:5 “you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.”
Generational curses are judgments that are passed on to individuals because of sins perpetuated in a family in several generations. A curse can pass from one person to the other. Are things in your life not as smooth as it should be? Re-occurring sicknesses, from riches to rags lifestyle, chains of broken families, marriages, generations of drug addictions, generations of jail tenants, generations of murderers, generations of prostitutes, infinity? This is a trend of a generation curse.
It’s not necessarily your fault, but the fact of the matter remains, someone in the lineage of your blood was cursed! That curse retains it powers, re-occurs at the same season, time, and in the same channel and pattern. I can happen at the same moon cycle every month or on the same month and day when it was originally commenced.
For example, if your mother has been heavily involved in the occult, then she has become quite defiled (polluted or unclean) and has opened herself up to various demons to enter her. The Bible tells us that the sin of the parents can cause that same pollution to be handed down to their children:
Lamentations 5:7, "Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities."
What happens is that not only is the uncleanliness handed down, but demons move right in and take advantage of this often at a very young age in a person's life (often before birth). The person then goes throughout life struggling with the same bondages that their parents struggle with. Dream pollution will also be very evident within a person’s life that either has been defiled by what passes down or what that individual may also have opened a door of defilement to. The good news is that the Blood of Jesus is more powerful than any bondage that may have been handed down to you! You can be set free and completely released from the effects of any generational curses handed down to you!
Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),”
See when you believe in Jesus Christ, the first thing you need to learn is the infallible authorities God laid up for all believers. You must remember that you were turned from death (sin) to life (Christ). The devil, enemies (people) and demons might try to remind you that you are not worth anything, but it is you that must remind yourself who God says you are. If you know it, say it, believe it and strive to live it, the Holy Spirit in you will gradually inch out the demonic agents that kept that curse alive.
See when Jesus went to the cross, He became a curse for you on that cross to deal with the issue of sin and He has given you all authority to bind and loosen every attack of the enemy. But you must learn to walk in that authority and exercise that authority daily, by binding every ungodly thought and renouncing any generational curse upon your family line that the enemy has had legal right in the past. Salvation is not the same as deliverance. The effects of unbroken curses are not a salvation issue. They are a deliverance and sanctification issue. Jesus dealt with the curse of sin, but He has given us all authority to overcome the enemy by faith.
I believe generational sin curses (curses caused by sins of the forefathers) Jesus dealt with on the cross, but each person must exercise that authority over those generational spirits. Because most people that are ignorant to family members past being involved in deep occult without exercising authority are still affected, for the unclean spirits that entered in before they accepted Jesus still need to come out precious saints. The problem is we must exercise that freedom in the finished work of the cross otherwise they will still pass down the family line on these ignorant Christians that are not looking for the warning signs and reoccurring cycles. Just like the spirit of death that follows on many family lines through infirmity or death around a particular month each year or number of years that have to do with an agreement that the forefather made with the devil. Just like other generational curses such as encountered in Freemasonry and secret societies, need to be renounced and broken to be set free from them.
Other times, a line of fear runs in the family tree, but isn't manifested in a person's life until they get themselves involved in something fearful, such as watching a demonic movie. All of a sudden, the spirits in that person's life "come alive" so to speak and make themselves known. They were there all along, but just now they have come out into the open. The solution is to cast them out.
The devil knows that one of the most prized possessions you have, is your children, so he is trying to destroy your future lineage that they will never serve God.
Now the truth is if our past generations knew all this then maybe they would not have made these agreements with sin and the devil. Because it makes sin a lot harder to commit when you realize that you are not the only one that is being punished for it, but also your own children are going to pay the price for your foolishness. Imagine the whole human race fell thanks to Adam's sin for that matter.
That is why repentance is so vital for today’s day and age, because many do not even know they are committing sin against God who is holy. So maybe through ignorance you have involved yourself in any sin or opened any doors in your own life, then it's important that you clear up any legal grounds (or strongholds) that you gave the enemy. For example, if you have gone to see a demonic movie, and it seemed to have triggered spirits of fear in your life that were handed down to you, then it's important to repent for going to see such a movie before trying to cast out any spirits. It's also possible that you picked up the spirits from such a movie without them even being there in the first place, and/or added to spirits that were already inside you. It's always a good idea to clear up any legal grounds or strongholds in your own life before casting spirits out.
Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
You must know the scripture by heart, it is the greatest covering God gave to all His children, and the greatest empowerment available to us. For you have the power and authority to re-create your destiny. As a BORN-AGAIN BELIEVER, every word of God from your mouth, every act of obedience to His Word, will bring you the intended result you desire. That is the will of God.
Daniel 10:12-14 "Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”
See when the enemy knows you can be a threat to his kingdom of darkness, he will call for aa diabolical convergence meeting of principalities and powers to oppose your mission for the Lord. But the Lord will always send reinforcements of warring angels when the battle is too fierce or the answer to your prayer is being delated. So always be encouraged that your fasting and prayers is never in vain rather we need to keep pressing in saints! For if Daniel prayed 21 days before he got his answer, so we also must not stop until the breakthroughs come saints.
So now you can understand when sometimes you’re praying, and you don't get an answer straight away or it is being blocked. See it's not because you are praying for the wrong thing saints. On the contrary in fact, it is because you're praying for the right thing saints and there is just opposition. See there is warfare going on in the second heaven in supernatural realm. Therefore, it is vital that we first also take down all ancestral strongholds that have been locked up in the spheres hidden. See the ancestral spirits and evil altars remain dormant until you start reaching your God given destiny. See on our generational line, most do not have knowledge of what type of rituals or oaths that our ancestors dedicated our family line to the kingdom of darkness. That is why it is vital that we must pull down the altars of Baal in our family lines and take down and remove permanently all the legal rights from our bloodline for us to go beyond the generational limitations in Jesus mighty name!
Judges 6:25-26 "Now it came to pass the same night that the Lord said to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the wooden image that is beside it; 26 and build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.”
God wants to deliver you this weekend from those lingering demons that are staying around that need to go today. Therefore, keep pushing in prayer until the answer comes also and never give up, for this battle belongs to the Lord. Shalom
Deliverance prayer from generational curses:
This weekend during the ministration of the Word and confessing and listening to prayers I would encourage you to get yourself a plastic bucket and some tissues, for when you start these prayers the demons may leave through vomiting, and you will need the bucket to capture any vomit and tissues to clean your mouth.
This month of June I want to encourage all Christians on social media that want breakthrough and restoration to Fast & Pray along with us this month’s 3 day fast.
This is an event anybody can partake of anywhere around the world in your home, church, friend’s house, in the village or in the city etc with the main purpose of getting people to repent and turn back to God on the same calendar day through fasting with the help of prayer taken from 2 Chronicles 7:14, that it will build awareness of the need to pray for your local church. Though we are on different timelines I encourage you to just follow the dates for your respective countries.

THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL IN PRAYER IS LISTENING FOR GOD’S DIRECTIONS FOR OUR LIVES!
See God has unique relationships with all of us and therefore our prayer lives are unique as well. Some of us put unnecessary pressures on ourselves to pray like someone we have heard, when the most important thing that God wants from us, is for us to Seek His Face (Psalm 27:8), to look for Him, the All Knowing for guidance, to love on Him, and continuously build a relationship with Him (John 15:14-15). A relationship with God is similar in one way to relationships with others, the more we communicate the stronger the relationship becomes; the communication is in fact our relationship. Prayer is our relationship with God.
No prayer = no relationship with God
More prayer = BIGGER relationship with God
A humble heart and a mind open to Jesus is what He expects, and the Holy Spirit will do the rest (Romans 8:26,27).
WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?
We pray because we love God, We pray to worship God for who He is, We pray to say thanks to our Father, We pray to God to praise Him, We pray to petition God, We pray to confess our sins, We pray to intercede for others, We pray against the enemies of God, We pray to listen to God, We pray to resist temptation, We pray because He directs us to
Baggage Control: getting rid of the emotional and spiritual baggage of the past to enable God’s people to be free to do what God called us to do Whether this is your first time fasting, or you have done this many times, the result is always a closer connection with God and a stronger church family. Please let us know you’ll be fasting with us – that we may cover you in prayer also.
PRACTICAL TIPS FOR FASTING:
1. Avoid medical and even natural herbal drugs. However, if you are under medication, these should only be withdrawn upon the advice of your doctor.
2. Limit your physical activity and exercise. If you have a workout routine, adjust it accordingly.
3. Rest as much as you can if needed be.
4. Maintain an attitude of prayer throughout the day. Intercede for your family, pastors, church, nation, missionaries & world missions, etc.
5. Drink plenty of clean water if you are joining the water fast.
6. As your body adjusts, be prepared for temporary bouts of physical weakness as well as a greater likelihood of impatience, irritability, and anxiety.
FASTING BRINGS REVIVAL:
“. . . in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So, I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:2,3
Fasting helps us prevail in prayer and intercession. Daniel understood that Israel was headed for destruction. He also knew that in times like these, there is only one recourse—intercession through praying and fasting. Throughout human history, God has brought revival and delivered nations from destruction in response to prayer and fasting.
FASTING IS AN ACT OF HUMILITY AND CONSECRATION:
“. . . I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting . . .” Psalm 35:13
Humility results in the grace of God (James 4:6). When we humble ourselves in prayer, we have instant access to the heart of God. As we deny ourselves as an act of consecration, we are better able to exercise self-control over our emotions and desires.
SPIRITUAL CLEANSING & SPIRITUAL EYES OPENED:
Fasting can be done for one meal, one day, one month or for however long God leads. It depends on how the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Shorter fasts are easier to endure until we have built up our “spiritual muscles”. A three day fast is most beneficial as a spiritual cleansing. An example of this is Paul’s being thrust into his fast upon conversion. After the three days of cleansing, he received the Holy Spirit and his eyesight when Ananias laid hands on him (Acts 9:17-18). We also can be spiritually cleansed by fasting so that we receive more of the Lord’s Spirit and have our spiritual eyes opened to new dimensions. A three day fast is also especially helpful in breaking any addictive habits.
These then are two reasons for fasting: We receive spiritual cleansing and our spiritual eyes are opened, and we also obtain victory over the devil. When Jesus encountered Satan, He was able to overcome Him because His fasting had given Him spiritual strength. Isaiah 58:6 also gives us light on this purpose of fasting: “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” Many people believe that fasting is to move the hand of God, when in actuality it is to make Satan turn loose of the things he is holding.
BREAKING STRONGHOLDS & BUILDING FAITH:
Fasting loosens the bands of wickedness. When Jesus discussed the keys to the kingdom, He told us to bind and loose. When we fast, we loose the bands of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, set the oppressed free, and break every yoke of the enemy. Fasting is an important key to getting the victory over hard situations that do not seem to respond to normal prayer.
Fasting builds our faith. In fact, this is what Jesus meant when he spoke to the disciples in Matthew 17:21 in answer to why they were not able to cast a demon out of a child. He said, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” He was telling them if they wanted their faith to be at such a level as to be able to cast out demons, then they must fast and pray for their faith to increase.
Fasting also makes it easier for us to hear the voice of the Lord. We find an account of this in Acts 13:2 “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
While fasting, the Holy Spirit spoke to them and gave them direction. We too can be directed by the Lord if we seek Him through prayer and fasting.
When we deny our natural cravings, our spiritual antennas become more attuned. We become more sensitive to His voice as we divest ourselves of worldly distractions. We are better able to focus on God and submit to His will. This opens the door for more of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Fasting and mourning are strongly associated in the Bible. Two examples of this are found in Ezra and Nehemiah.
Ezra 10:6: “Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Jehohanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.”
Nehemiah 1:4: “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.”
From these Scriptures, we see that fasting and travail (a prayer burden from the Lord that brings crying and tears) were combined. Both of these men were fasting for the repentance of God’s people. How we need this same kind of intercession today. Here were men so burdened for the sins of their people that they fasted, travailed, and prayed.
DAY 1: - REMOVING THE CURSE OF CAIN (THE VAGABOND SPIRIT)
FRIDAY 23rd of June 2023
Scripture for Reading: Genesis 4:1-12 “10 And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. 11 So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.” 13 And Cain said to the Lord, “My [g]punishment is greater than I can bear! 14 Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.” 15 And the Lord said to him, [h]“Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.
The Family of Cain
16 Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden.”
In today's key Scripture, we read the story of Cain and the curse that it left upon him after murdering his brother because of jealousy. Now Cain felt no remorse for killing his brother. The sin of Cain separated him from God. Without heart felt repentance sin will continue to separate man from God. When God asked Cain where his brother was, Cain lied and said he did not know. According to Cain’s way of thinking, he was NOT his brother’s keeper. Cain’s punishment for killing his brother was more than he could bear. He was driven from the Presence of God, destined to WANDER aimlessly about the Earth until his death. The earth, of course, speaks of the heart, or spirit. Cain would have no more communication or fellowship with God.
From that day forth, Cain became a SPIRITUAL VAGABOND and a FUGITIVE. Cain was driven from the PRESENCE OF GOD and became a Spiritual VAGABOND.
Psalm 92:13 “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
We have heard of the terms “the black sheep in the family” and the enemy will always try to target our children and its aim is to turn them into personalities that just go through life in a wandering state. Having a arrested development on their futures and stopping them from being able to reach their full destinies. But coming back to this curse on many family lines these are evil spirits permitted by God to cause one to be a fugitive, wandering from place to place and they are also responsible for lack of ability to discover oneself. Now the truth is this spirit of the Vagabond and Wandering Spirits will make one a wanderer a spiritual nomad.
WHAT IS THE VAGABOND SPIRIT
The vagabond spirit is a very common and brutal spirit that is operating in the world today precious saints, and we will briefly tackle this spirit in today’s first day of the 3-day fasting program, so that we can pray against it either operating in your life or that of a loved one. Curses are very real saints. They affect believers and unbelievers alike. There are self-inflicted curses which are usually caused by blatant, pre-meditated, and consistent sin, and then you have generational curses which are usually hereditary weaknesses to sins and or disadvantages. Some families struggle with specific sins, while other families struggle with other sins. These are generational curses that attach themselves, because of past pacts and contracts, to entire families. A curse is simply defined as being empowered to fail. A blessing means to be empowered to prosper. So, a curse then is a legal hold (right) that binds people to failure. So this weekend is a good opportunity for us to self-reflect and also stand in the gap lost loved ones.
THE HEBREW WORD FOR VAGABOND MEANS:
– A person without a permanent home who moves from place to place.
– a vagrant
– a wanderer
– a tramp (prostitute) a person who gets intimate with many, but stays with none.
– irregular – someone contrary to rule, accepted order or general practice – departing from the usual pattern, not belonging to a permanent, organized military force.
The word vagabond also means – to move to and fro, to take flight at a moment’s notice. To waver or to be a runabout.
Now maybe right now you can think of some people that come to mind that may potentially suffer with this spirit or you even see some of these attributes on your family line and we will be praying against this today.
Now God told Abraham that He would CURSE those that CURSED Abraham (Genesis 12:3).
Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
So, anyone that made it hard for Abraham to complete his assignment, God would make it hard for them. Imagine the same God (YHWH) that fights your battles will bring about vindication to anything the enemy is bringing your way. The key for us is to remain in His presence for He has promised that those that dwell with Him will flourish.
Psalm 92:13 “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
So, what could be some of the signs or symptoms of being under attack by this spirit of vagabond?
THE SIGNS THAT A VAGABOND CURSE IS PRESENT IN YOUR LIFE:
1. SPIRITUAL POVERTY & BARRENNESS - No deep connection with God or His word. There is No power, no anointing or presence, no desire for prayer and bible reading. (Genesis 4:16)
Genesis 4:16 “Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of [a]Nod on the east of Eden.”
2. UNSTABLE & UNSETTLED - the vagabond curse keeps you restless & from settling down:- You always busy, on the run & your life is always a chase. You doubt what God can do in your life and double minded. You always move from one thing to the other e.g. (House, jobs relationships, partners, business deal, friendships, careers).
James 1:6-8 “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
3. OVER-AMBITIOUS - Cain's name means to Acquire. One can be driven & inspired by a vagabond spirit to obtain money, wealthy, property, houses, business, churches, status career & success.
Psalm 127:1-2 “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.”
A vagabond curse drives you to be over ambitious to have success, but you building without the spirit. (Genesis 4:17)
Genesis 4:17 “And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son—Enoch.”
4. FRUSTRATION & SUFFERING - The vagabond finds it harder to succeed then others; what comes easy for others he/she has to battle to achieve. (Genesis 4:12)
Genesis 4:12 “When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.”
5. LACK OF FOCUS & CONCENTRATION - One of the effects of being under the vagabond curse is the failure to remain focused & concentrate during worship, bible reading or preaching. Like the slumbering spirit that comes upon one affected. So, beware of this spirit. Are you experiencing days of spiritual low percent in your life? Perhaps you have gone to sleep, and you need to awaken today. Just like the Slumbering spirit this spirit will cause an individual to be powerless in prayer and sin will flourish.
Ephesians 5:14 “Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
6. UNFAITHFUL & COVENANT BREAKERS - Vagabonds are church hoppers. Every time they get planted, the curse of the vagabond goes into action and uproots them. Not just churches in the physical buildings, but also people that go from listening to one preacher to the next to the next and are susceptible to false prophets.
2 Timothy 4:3 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;”
7. DESTINY & VISION KILLERS - Like Cain, believers & leaders with a vagabond spirit kill & murder the plans, purpose, vision & destiny God has for a church. (1 John 3:12)
1 John 3:12 “not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.”
Imagine many people are suffering today because of the above inn some way shape and form potentially because of a generational curse caused by the sin of shedding blood. Any person or persons who sheds blood is placed under a severe curse supervised by the vagabond spirit. Genesis 4:12b says, “… a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.”
Deliverance is often necessary in such cases to terminate this affliction. I believe anyone who has committed the sin of bloodshed either by killing someone or committing abortion needs to be delivered urgently from vagabond spirits so that he or she can live a fruitful, meaningful, blessed and settled life. Soul ties must be broken as a necessity. Well, someone might say I’ve never killed anyone but if you have committed or aided someone to commit abortion, you have shed innocent blood. One needs to first also repent genuinely and plead the blood of Jesus. There is no record of Cain ever asking God for forgiveness; therefore, he had to endure the full weight of the punishment for his sins.
When we read King David writings seen in Psalm 51:14, the sin of blood-guiltiness must be repented of urgently and genuinely so that it can be washed with the blood of Jesus.
Psalm 51:7, “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” The blood of Jesus cleanses the soul. It cleanses us from all sin.
1 John_1:7, “… the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
See this will ensure that the curse is lifted and reversed. Please don’t ignore this today precious saints. These fasting programs have been put together to bring freedom, so let us pray today and break this curse either over our lives or that of those we are standing in the gap for today.
PRAYER FOCUS DAY 1:
Heavenly Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus we come before you today through the blood of your son Jesus Christ! Lord, forgive us today and all other people listening for anything that we have may done against you and help us to forgive others that may have done anything against us, and we choose to forgive ourselves for anything that we have done or spoken against ourselves or others in Jesus Mighty Name!
Today we repent of any sins within my life’s or of our ancestors lives that have resulted in a curse. So we repent of all disobedience, rebellion, perversion, witchcraft, idolatry, lust, adultery, fornication, mistreatment of others, murder, cheating, lying, sorcery, divination, and occult involvement. We ask your forgiveness and cleansing through the blood and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We take authority over and break any and every curse upon my life in the name of Jesus. I break all curses of poverty, lack, debt, destruction, sickness, death, and vagabondism. We break all curses upon our marriage, family, children, and relationships. I break all curses of rejection, rebellion, pride, lust, hurt, incest, rape, Ahab, Jezebel, fear, insanity, madness, and confusion.
I break all curses affecting my spirit, soul, and body, my finances, sexual character, emotions, will, and relationships. I break every hex, vex, jinx, spell, and spoken curse over my life. I break every fetter, shackle, chain, cord, habit, and cycle that is a result of a curse.
According to Galatians 3:13, I have been redeemed from "the curse of the law" by the sacrifice of Jesus. I exercise my faith in the name and the blood of Jesus and loose myself and my descendants from any and every curse. I claim forgiveness through the blood of Jesus for the sins of my fathers.
All my sins have been remitted, and I loose myself from the curses that came as a result of all disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God.
I choose to walk away from the past in the Almighty Name of Jesus. I renounce all demonic inheritance in the Name of Jesus and cut myself free from the territorial spirits that think they still have a hold on me operating from the countries and tribes of origin where my forefathers came from. In Jesus’ Name I renounce all familiar spirits and I command you to let me go now!
Lord, I ask You to curse all demonic roots that I have inherited as You cursed the fig tree, in Jesus’ Name. I renounce all occultic callings, ranking, gifting, talents and abilities in the Almighty Name of Jesus!
Lord, I also bring before You the fruits that have resulted in my life because of the root of the vagabond spirit and I ask You to set me free and to break the power of these patterns and cycles over me and my family:
• The fear of hunger.
• All eating disorders.
• Obsessions with food.
• Alcoholism and drugs.
• All forms of addiction.
• Inability to handle money.
• Stealing, gambling, and wasting.
• Obsession to own land. Lord, I know now that we are only stewards and I choose to be a faithful steward with all that You bless me with, in Jesus’ Name!
• All forms of poverty.

Lord, please forgive me and my family for allowing and indulging in these sins, in Jesus’ Name. I nail each one of these things to the Cross of Jesus and cover them with the Blood of Jesus!
Lord, I receive my forgiveness now in Jesus’ Name. I now turn to you, Satan, and all your demons that have been tormenting my family and me for generations. I bind and rebuke all you spirits in the Almighty Name of Jesus and I command you to go now in Jesus’ Name! I resist you, Satan, and the Word of God says you must flee (James 4:7).
I thank You, Father, that I am Your child and that You have adopted me as Your very own. I do not have a spirit of slavery or vagabond to put me once more in bondage to fear, but I have received the spirit of adoption, the spirit producing sonship in the bliss of which I cry, Abba Father (Rom 8:15)!
I reject and renounce all the chains and yokes of slavery and declare I have been set free by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the Blood of the Lamb!
Thank You Lord for removing the marks of slavery from my body, soul and spirit and removing my name from Satan’s books of slavery in Jesus Mighty Name!
1. Lord whatever we have done that has brought about the spirit of vagabond into our life’s, lord have mercy and deliver us today, in the mighty name of Jesus!
2. Oh Lord You are our Father, and we ask you today to uproot any vagabond spirit out of our life’s, in the mighty name of Jesus!

4. Lord every Satanic remote control that could be operating within our life’s at the edge of breakthrough, may they expire in the mighty name of Jesus!
5. Lord we paralyse and nullify all the activities of vagabond spirits within our life’s, in the name of Jesus.
6. Lord, deliver us from the spirit of self- destruction and we cut ourselves off from every spirit of tongue and venomous speech, in the mighty name of Jesus!
7. Lord every stronghold binding us with stagnancy or delay, let it be destroyed, in the mighty name of Jesus!
8. Father, we ask for Your power to find our bearings in the journey of life that we may have grace to walk the narrow path in the mighty name of Jesus!
9. Father let every satanic agent, assigned against our progress, be bound and striped of their evil powers in the mighty Name of Jesus!
10. Lord let every vagabond spirit keeping us wandering in the wilderness of not being able to move forward in any area of our life be bound and sent back to the pit of hell in Jesus Might Name!
11. Lord may every chain of darkness, holding us down in the same spot for and not progressing years, let it be broken over our lives in Jesus Mighty Name!
12. So today Lord we cut off from us every failure, frustration, backwardness, and sickness, in the mighty name of Jesus!
13. Lord let the demonic power of failure at the edge of success, be destroyed by the Fire of God today in Jesus Mighty Name!

Today we exercise our faith, and we know that confession is made unto salvation. Therefore, we will confess that Abraham's blessings are ours today. For we are not cursed, but we are blessed. We are the head and not the tail. We are above and not beneath. We are a blessed coming in and blessed going out. We are a blessed and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. Father, in Jesus' name, I loose myself from all relationships that are not ordained of God; all relationships that are not of the Spirit but of the flesh; all relationships based on control, domination, or manipulation; and all relationships based on lust and deception. In the name of Jesus, I loose all members of my body, including my mind, memory, eyes, ears, tongue, hands, feet right now from all lust, perversion, sexual impurity, uncleanness, lasciviousness, promiscuity, pornography, fornication, homosexuality, fantasy, filthiness, burning passion, and uncontrollable sex drive. I loose myself from the effects of all bad memories, painful memories, and memories of the past that would hinder me in the present or future in Jesus Mighty Name!
We loose myself from all occult involvement, all sorcery, divination, witchcraft, psychic inheritance, rebellion, confusion, sickness, death and destruction as a result of occult involvement. I sever all communication lines between the second heaven and me in Jesus Name!

We loose my will from all control domination and manipulation from Satan, his demons, and other people in Jesus Mighty Name!
We loose myself from all lust, rebellion, stubbornness, pride, self-will, selfishness, and anti-submissive spirits that block and hinder my will. I break and loose myself from all chains around my will, and I submit my will to the will of God in Jesus Mighty Name!
We hereby forgive all other people for anything they may have done against me, and I forgive myself for anything I have done or spoken against myself or others in Jesus Mighty Name!
We break all generational curses on both sides of my family back 4 generations, and loose myself and my seed from the effects thereof. I hereby break all curses standing against me in the name of Jesus!
In Jesus’ name, I destroy, cancel, vacate, and break any judgments I may have made and stated against any other person or myself including those that have been spoken against me. These judgments are now broken, null and void and I am free. Father, please forgive me for pronouncing judgment on them or myself. I leave judgment to You. I command all evil spirits that have come through these judgments to go to the feet of Jesus. Demons of the judgments, in the name of Jesus, GO!
In Jesus’ name, I break the power of any curses or judgments that others may have spoken over me. I cancel any curses I might have spoken over them or myself. I cancel any ungodly vows that I may have made in Jesus Mighty Name!
Generational curses must be broken – say the following: Please forgive me and my ancestors for all ungodliness. I cancel, remove, and uproot all iniquity from all my ancestors, me and my seed, spirit, soul, and body. I command the very substance of iniquity to be removed from all parts of my body, soul, and spirit in Jesus Name. I place the cross of Jesus Christ and the blood of Jesus be-tween my parents and me at conception. No ancestral curses or assignments can come through the cross and the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name!
We also terminate, in Jesus’ Name, any ungodly soul ties that exist between any one and me. I do this spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, (sexually if it applies) and I command all evil spirits that have come through these soul ties to go to the feet of Jesus. Control spirit coming through anyone, and any associated demon spirits GO. Demons of the curses, in the name of Jesus, GO! (Stay engaged until you feel the spirits have departed.)
Lord Jesus, I think I need some hugs. As Your child, Lord, would You put your arms around me and hold me, comforting, assuring, loving and bringing Your Truth to me about any and all relationships, so that any lies I have believed all these years can be clarified with Your truth. Your truth, Lord is what I ask. (Now just sit there and listen. Sometimes we hear well, sometimes we don’t hear anything, but we seem to experience a peace that was not there before. It is obvious the Lord spoke into our spirit man with a healing.)
I take my mind in my head, my mind in my heart, and my body memory in my muscles and organs and cast all evil imprints down `in the name of Jesus and replace them with the mind of Christ. I ask for and receive the mind of Christ, pure and clean by faith. Thank you, Father God, thank you, Jesus, for cleansing my mind and body. Fill me and renew me by the Holy Spirit. Baptize me with the Holy Spirit and with Fire. Lead me in the Way of Life, God, and Messiah, by your Spirit in my spirit. Thank you, Lord, for your pure life in me in Jesus Mighty Name!
Father God, I call on breakthrough angels to release breakthrough in my life. I call on angels of the most High God to bring about divine connections and divine appointments with anyone that has anything to do with my destiny. I call on provision angels to release provision. I call on warring angels with swords drawn to destroy strongholds of the enemy. I call on healing angels to release healing in Jesus Name!
FURTHER PRAYER POINTS TO CONFESS:
Pray for a new and great manifestation of God’s miracle power in your life, Repentance Revival Ministries, Your church, and Your nation. Seek the Lord for miracles, signs, and wonders that will amaze the people and bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pray that God’s healing power would come into your life in all of its fullness. Ask that He would heal you from sickness and disease, and from every hurt, brokenness, and defeat. (3 John vs. 2; Isaiah 53:5)
There are hidden strongholds that are blocking your progress in life. Pray against those strongholds. Ask God to reveal them to you so that they can be broken (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). Name the specific stronghold in your life and family and command it to be broken in Jesus’ name!
Thank the Lord that He is changing you. Thank Him for His love that does not want to leave you the way you are. Pray that His plans and His will come to pass in your life as you submit to Him.
Pray for all the singles partaking in the fast who are seeking life partners. Ask God to guide them to the person who will really be a blessed spouse to that person. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and strength to overcome fleshly desires.
Pray for the Lord to open the doors to revival within each of our cities to reach the lost souls within this hour, that a mighty move of God would sweep the nations and whatever God is doing in this hour He would include all those that hunger and thirst for Him.
In closing, hear this admonition from the Lord to you today from 1Pet 5:8-11."Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, strong in your faith, because you know that your brothers and sisters throughout the world are enduring the same kinds of suffering. 10 And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 To him belongs the power forever. Amen."
DAY 2: - DEFEATING THE SPIRIT OF PISGAH

And the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the [a]Western Sea, 3 the South, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.” 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.”
BATTLEING THE SPIRIT OF ALMOST THERE (PISGAH)
Precious saints have you ever felt like you are living in a vicious circle? Even now you may be trying your best to solve a problem only to discover that every step you take is making the problem worse—or even creating new problems and you can’t seem to get out of the ditch you have found yourself in.
If that’s you, stop and ask yourself—is this a vicious circle or a demonic cycle? In other words, is one trouble in your life leading to another because of the classic law of cause and effect, a law that can easily snowball for better or worse? Or are you wrestling against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places? According to (Eph. 6:12)
The spirit of almost there is an evil spirit that causes relapse and failures in the life of an individual. It hinders businesses and limits progress. It turns people to great under achievers. And cause bad habits in many individuals, because of constant failure in not being able to achieve beyond a point.
Deuteronomy 34:1-5 Moses Dies on Mount Nebo
Genesis 11:31-32 “And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there. 32 So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.”
See There is a spirit that is at work when good things seem intangible, and that spirit is called the spirit of Pisgah the spirit of almost there.
Pisgah is a place of stagnancy. You cannot go forward when you encounter the spirit of Pisgah (The spirit of almost there). Imagine a man who worked for God for 40 years. Imagine a man who fasted for 40 days and 40 nights on three different occasions because of the work of God! Through Moses, God did mighty things that have never been done on earth. He stretched his hand to the sea, and it parted. The children of Israel walked on dry land. If this man, at the end of the day, could not enter where he longed to be and he ended his journey on the Mountain, Pisgah then we need to pray!
Pisgah operatives quietly but its effects are life- wasting. It is at work wherever there is abortion of good things. It is at work when promises are never fulfilled. It is at work when there is a fall from great heights. It is both a spirit of miscarriage of blessings and separation from glory. The prince of Persia uses the spirit to delay and deny children of God their rights and blessings. God says that our expectations shall not be cut off, but the spirit of Pisgah always ensures that boulders and brick-walls are erected in the way of blessings and reception of good things. God will separate you from this spirit in Jesus' name.
In relationships and businesses, the spirit of Pisgah is behind disappointments and frustration. How can a partner in love suddenly grow cold and become unduly critical? How can a business proposal -well-articulated and packaged-fails to sail through? Why would someone promise you a favour and help and just forget about it without any basis for such? All these are effects of that spirit. The spirit of Pisgah may also make people to fall from great heights.
The Spirit of almost there, troubles the destiny of many people. It is Near Success Syndrome, It makes people to labour without results. Courtship for many years but never get to marriage, pregnant for 7months but end with still-birth, spirit of miscarriage of babies, vision & business, many will submit proposals to organizations, but the job will not be given, seeing but not attaining, building but never completed. Basically, a lot of incomplete activities and goals in life.
The spirit stopped Moses from getting to the land of Cannan and also made Terah die in Haran before getting to the final destination. As we prayerfully deal with this, we shall encounter victory.
When we however fight the enemy in the good fight of faith, standing upon His promises and will always meet His covenant promises.
The Bible also says in Genesis 21 vs 1 that : "And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken".
This scriptures is profound and pregnant with meanings. God promised Abraham and Sarah a covenant child, and He delivered on the promise. There was delay but the promise came true eventually. For many children of God today, delay seems interminable. Promises to stretch forth without coming forth. Expectations mount on a daily basis, but accomplishments are few. Text: The Lord that visited Sarah as He said and did unto her as He had spoken, just as He will visit you today and do unto you as He has promised you in Jesus' name. Therefore, you must refuse to live in a dream land; your success will come forth and whatever the enemy meant for harm God will turn around for His glory and you will rejoice in Jesus' name for He shall do it!
Therefore, child of God, God wants to do the same in your life as well. Will you let Him today? Let us also pray and break the hold of this spirit either on your life or those you are standing in the gap on behalf this weekend in Jesus Mighty Name!
DAY 2 PRAYER FOCUS
Father, You said that if I would humble myself, pray and seek Your face...If I would turn and repent from my wicked ways, You said You would forgive my sins. Whether other family members or myself have partaken of these sins knowingly or unknowingly, I ask Your forgiveness and I renounce: All spirits of fear, the fear of man that brings a snare, self- pity, insecurity, and inferiority. Forgive me for the need to control or manipulate others out of a sense of fear, insecurity, or inferiority. Forgive me for not trusting in your provision or your timing, and for failing to rest in Your love. Father, I thank you that Your perfect love casts out all fear according to 1 John 4:18. I come out of agreement with the spirit of fear and command it to leave me now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ. Let the curse of fear and anxiety be broken now in Jesus’ name.
1. Lord we release the Fire of God onto every evil power NOW sitting on my breakthrough, in the name of Jesus!
2. I overcome, and I put to shame every enemy fighting against the birth of my dreams especially through this spirit of Pisgah, in the name of Jesus!
3. Lord, I ask You to expose those who are, NOW, behind the curse of stagnancy and non-achievement in my life for this spirit of Pisgah must be exposed, in the name of Jesus!
4. Every battle with this spirit of Pisgah, at the edge of my breakthrough…DIES NOW in the name of Jesus!
5. Every spirit of jealousy working against my breakthrough, COLLIDE WITH THE ROCK OF AGES NOW, IN JESUS NAME!
5. Every curse of automatic failure working against my destiny: BE DESTROYED NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
6. Lord Jesus, by Your Blood, I make it impossible for the enemy to use what he sees about me especially with this spirit of Pisgah – against me, NOW, BE RENDERED POWERLESS TODAY IN YOUR NAME THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
7. Every evil eye looking into and influencing my destiny: BE BLINDED AND DESTROYED NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
8. In the name of Jesus and by the grace of God, I will not respond to any evil summons, for every demonic mirror monitoring my life: BE DESTROYED TODAY NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
9. Lord Jesus, by Your Blood, Your thunder and lightning destroys every star gazer’s crystal ball monitoring my breakthrough NOW in the name of Jesus Christ!
10. We bind the spirit of Pisgah and command it to return back to the pit of hell in the name of Jesus!
11. Lord send your fire to the enemy’s camp today in the name of Jesus!

For Lord Your Word says in Psalm 7:1 – O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust; save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me in Jesus Mighty Name! For I am saved and delivered from all my persecutors, in the name of Jesus!
For Lord Your Word says in Psalm 7:2 – Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. Therefore, I decree the Fire of God falls and roasts every roaring lion sent to rend me to pieces, in the name of Jesus!
For Lord Your Word says in Psalm 7:6 – Arise, O LORD, in Your anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. The Lord’s judgments are pronounced and established against the rage of my enemies, NOW, in the name of Jesus!

For Lord Your Word says in Psalm 7:10 – My defence is of God, which saves the upright in heart. You defend and save me, O Lord, because my heart is upright before You, in the name of Jesus!

For Lord Your Word says in Psalm 7:13 – He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors. God’s instruments of death and arrows of destruction continually operate against all my unrepentant enemies, in the name of Jesus!
For Lord Your Word says in Psalm 7:15 – He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. Therefore, I decree that all my enemies will fall now into the pits they have dug for me and be brought to repentance in the name of Jesus!

Oh Lord! we refuse to waste our time and our life in the name of Jesus! We refuse to carry the basket of the enemy in the name of Jesus! You the power of Pisgah, blocking me, leave us now in the name of Jesus! From this day, uncommon blessings will be our lot. We will get restoration in the name of Jesus!
PRAYER FOR PROTECTION
Father, I thank You for what You for Your hand of protection upon my family, friends, and myself for the remaining of this year 2023. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You that You watch over Your Word to perform it. I thank You that my family, friends and I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and that we remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, Whose power no foe can withstand. I cover my family, friends and I with the Precious Blood of Jesus, Your Son, thus keeping us safe from the hideous snares of Satan and all his cohorts in Jesus Mighty Name!
Father, You are our refuge and our fortress. No evil shall befall us - no accident shall overtake us nor shall any plague or calamity come near my home. I release ministering angels to go forth and to encompass over my family, friends, and myself, to accompany and defend and preserve us in all our ways of obedience and service. They are encamped around about us. I bind the devil from trying to influence them in any way this holiday. Shelter us in the palm of Your hand and save our homes from all storms in the name of Jesus!
Father, You are our confidence, firm and strong. You keep our feet from being caught in a trap or hidden danger. When we lie down, You will give my family, friends and myself peaceful sleep. Father, You give this family safety and ease us - Jesus is our safety! In Jesus Name, AMEN!

Ask God to cause revival living waters to begin to touch every area of your life, family, your nation, your church, Repentance Revival Ministries (Pastor Robert & Aida Clancy) and for them to bring healing to every sickness, life in place of death, fruitfulness in place of barrenness, multiplication in place of stagnation. Cover Pst Robert Clancy and his family from every reprisal attack from the enemy for all the work he is doing on the front lines against the forces of darkness. Yes, Lord protect them with your warrior angels as a hedge of protection around everything they do and go in Jesus Mighty Name!
Pray this prayer: Father, we are confident of this very thing; that He who has begun a good work in us; and in the Repentance Revival Ministries that you would provide open doors to venues to host Repentance Revival meetings across all the nations and stir up all the WhatsApp groups to be on fire for Jesus in the name of Jesus Christ! (Philippians 1:6). Give thanks to God for this and for answered prayers in your personal life also that He would provide for you according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. DAY 3: - BREAKING THE CYCLE OF DEFEAT (SET BACK)
SUNDAY 25th of June 2023
Scripture for Reading: Judges 6:1-10 “6 Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, 2 and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made for themselves the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains. 3 So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. 4 Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. 5 For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were [a]without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it. 6 So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. 7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, 8 that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of [b]bondage; 9 and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land. 10 Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My voice.’”
Now before we get into today’s teaching scripture above I want to discuss what is the spirit of setback. The spirit of setback or demonic cycles is an evil spirit that causes relapse and failures in the life of an individual. It hinders businesses and limits progress. It turns people to great under achievers. And cause bad habits in many individuals.
This could manifest in a variety of ways such as overeating, job instability, yearly sickness, relationship issues, problems with authority, unexplainable failures in your study’s, resitting exams, never completing work projects, other people advancing above you from your hard work, so much activity but little productivity, continuous employment disappointments and many other undesirable woes.
DREAM: Sometimes your dreams can tell you when something is not right within your life. When you see yourself frequently in a dream of a place you've moved on from or doing the same things you've left or being with the people you've left. Example, you see yourself in your previous school, job, career, or business. Or you see yourself in your village, former house or driving your former car.
God's plan for His children is good and not evil to give them a hope and a future (Jer. 29:11). You're supposed to make progress in every area of your life. Because God has provided you all you need to be great here on earth. He said He'll bless the work of your hand and the fruit of your body. Therefore, every project you embark on should prosper. But the thief, the murderer and the destroyer- satan is working day and night to stop you from achieving your God given destiny, because he knows that his time is short (John 10:10; Rev. 12:12) Close the devil's access routes into your life.
Demons can whisper in your ear and fortify ungodly thoughts in any area of your mind that isn’t renewed, by Gods Word. In this way, the demonic cycle may actually empower the vicious circle.
Galatians 3:13 “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),”
Although Jesus received the full wrath of God on our behalf when He was crucified, and though He took the curse upon Himself, many Christians do not automatically live a victorious life, and they don't understand why. I have known many Christians that have dealt with unseen things that always seemed like one step forward, two steps back. Jesus made everything available to us. Every promise is ours through faith. The evidence of our faith is obedience to God’s word. John 10:10 tells us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” The enemy is a liar, murderer, a thief and a rule-breaker. Satan is a career criminal. That’s his job. A career criminal is not going to abide by the rules or obey the law UNLESS someone ENFORCES the law. That is our job! If you think the enemy cannot rob, steal or mess with your life simply because you are under a new covenant of grace, you are quite mistaken. Salvation is not the same as deliverance. The effects of unbroken curses are not a salvation issue. They are a deliverance and sanctification issue. Jesus dealt with the curse of sin, but He has given us all authority to overcome the enemy by faith. Curses need to be identified and broken in the lives of saints. Breaking the curse takes away the legal right that demons must operate. Once the legal grounds are destroyed, demons can be forced to manifest and cast out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this word, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind….”
There can still be areas of our life - habits and mindsets that are not yet renewed, and perhaps open doors to the enemy that we have a hard time figuring out. We must appropriate that victory Jesus won for us by cooperating with our own deliverance. If I want my sins forgiven, I cannot retain unforgiveness and bitterness. Yes, grace is available, but if I reject that grace and make excuses to act in accordance with my own desires instead of God’s will, I find myself outside of God’s covenant through my disobedience. If I attempt to prove my own righteousness apart from the righteousness Christ has provided for me, I am outside of covenant. If I want the promise of blessing, I need to make sure I am following the spiritual principles outlined in God’s word so that I can receive the fullness of His blessing. Whatever I sow, I will reap in like kind. If I want to extract something out of the kingdom of God, I must secure that blessing through right responses to God. What seeds am I planting? What am I sowing? There is an equal responsibility of obedience, faith and action required in order to demonstrate faith and reap the benefits of God’s promises. The just shall live by faith.
So back to today's key Scripture above (Judges 6:1-10), we read the story of the Israelites in the days of Gideon being under attack by the Midianites on a periodic basis. This the bible said, was because the Lord had turned them over to the Midianites for seven years because Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord.
There are a few things that I would like us to look at in this Scripture:
Israel was overwhelmed by the Midianites. It was a persistent cycle of defeat, losses and discouragement that had occurred consistently every year for seven years.
They would Sow their crops, but as the bible says: Judges 6:3-4 “Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites, and the people from the east would attack them. 4They invaded the land and devoured its crops all the way to Gaza. They left nothing for the Israelites to eat, and they took away the sheep, oxen, and donkeys.”
Whenever the Israelites planted the crops, they had an onslaught from their enemies who over ran them and devoured their harvest. This was a systemic attack on Israel's prosperity and wellbeing that the bible says, left Israel impoverished and as written in the ESV translation:
“And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel cried out for help to the LORD.” (Judges 6:6)
If we read the story further (Judges 6-10), we see God through the mouth of His prophet, telling Israel why they were suffering such a fate. They were living in disobedience to God’s command.
An interesting thought about this story can be found in Judges 6:1,6-8:
Let’s first look at Judges 6:1 “The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD gave them into the hand of Midian seven years.”.
Then Judges 6:6 - “And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel cried out for help to the LORD.”
And finally, Judges 6:8a - “When the people of Israel cried out to the LORD on account of the Midianites, the LORD sent a prophet to the people of Israel.”
It is interesting to note that WHEN the people of Israel cried out to the Lord for help (v6), He sent a prophet to tell them what was wrong (v8), and thereafter raised a deliverer for them in Gideon. Reading verse 1 of the story again, the thought occurred to me: Could Israel have been in this terrible situation for so long, and only just cried out to the Lord for help after suffering for 7 years?
If that was so, the reason may be determined from the verse: The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them over into the hand of Midian 7 years. Could it be that they were not aware, that they were oblivious to their disobedience and that the Lord had turned His back on them? Could it be that they did evil in the sight of the Lord but not in their own eyes? Think about that for a moment.
How many of us are suffering under the curse of oppression, defeat and discouragement and have spent years fighting and “binding” the devil, but the real “enemy” is closer home than we thought?
God allowed the Midianites to devour Israel's harvest!
For you reading this today, if you have been caught in a cycle of defeat for any length of time, maybe the first step to take in breaking this cycle is for you to allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart and show you where you may be off with God.
We see a similar scenario of God allowing the devourer to prevail over his people in Haggai 1:1-11.
But as we will have noticed in both instances, when the people cried out to God for help, God sent a word through the mouth of His prophets, showed them where they had gone wrong, stopped the mouth of the devourer and brought restoration when they repented. Hallelujah!
This is a prophetic word of God to you today, that your change has come! If you will align yourself to Him and align your heart to His word and will for your life, He will manifest as your Deliverer and the Restorer of your destiny!
For we know by His word, that He will not always be angry with us…that is the Good News, the benefit of the grace and redemptive power in the blood of Jesus and the cross of Calvary.
DAY 3 PRAYER POINTS:
Meditate on 1 John 1:8-9 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
2 Chronicles 16:9a - "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him."
Pray as David did in Psalm 19:12-14 “Who can know all his errors? Please do not punish me for sins I am unaware of. 13 Moreover, keep me from committing flagrant sins; do not allow such sins to control me. Then I will be blameless, and innocent of blatant rebellion. 14 May my words and my thoughts be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my sheltering rock, and my redeemer.”
Cry out to God for help against the devourer.
Petition God to bring an end to your cycle of defeat. Ask God to turn your cycle of defeat into cycles of blessings. Pray these prayers for yourself, your family, and the body Christ as a whole.
Precious saints there is good news! If you want to break demonic cycles in your life, humble yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to help you find the Scriptures that will serve as your double-edged sword to slice into pieces the demonic strongholds in your mind. Even if it’s a generational curse or if you need full-blown deliverance, the blood of Jesus, the name of Christ and the Word of God are more powerful weapons than anything Satan has in his arsenal.
Dig down to the root of your thinking. Where did it start? Forgive anyone who hurt you. Forgive yourself. Receive forgiveness from the Lord for your wrong thinking and self-sabotage. Ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit, love the people around you, take on a new attitude, and call those things that be not as though they were. As you do, you’ll begin to see things as He does—through the eyes of faith—and your behaviour will begin to change. You’ll break the demonic cycle and stop walking in vicious circles. I assure you, whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Start to pray this prayer below with a humble heart and contrite spirit.
Dear Heavenly Father in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I come to You on behalf of myself and all those in my ancestral line that came before me. I ask for Your forgiveness for our sins, and I acknowledge that many of us never asked for Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Saviour. Many of us committed sins and trespasses in rebellion to Your ways.
Forgive us for the grief we caused, the injustices and the bloodshed. Forgive us for broken covenants, vows, and agreements and for the curses that came because of those actions. Although I may not have personally taken part in these sins, I understand that there is a need to recognize the sins of those that came before us and I ask for the blood of Jesus to atone for these things so that we may be cleansed of all these unrighteous acts. Please allow all those that have been affected by this generational root of bitterness, grief and poverty now find the grace to forgive, even generations of mistreatment and injustices.
Father, You said that if I would humble myself, pray and seek Your face...If I would turn and repent from my wicked ways, You said You would forgive my sins. Whether other family members or myself have partaken of these sins knowingly or unknowingly, I ask Your forgiveness and I renounce:
All spirits of fear, the fear of man that brings a snare, self- pity, insecurity, and inferiority. Forgive me for the need to control or manipulate others out of a sense of fear, insecurity, or inferiority. Forgive me for not trusting in your provision or your timing, and for failing to rest in Your love. Father, I thank you that Your perfect love casts out all fear according to 1 John 4:18. I come out of agreement with the spirit of fear and command it to leave me now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ. Let the curse of fear and anxiety be broken now in Jesus’ name!
We ask for Your giant warrior angels to protect each of us and our loved ones also today in Jesus mighty name! Lord as your war club and weapons of war, we break down, undam, and blow up all walls of protection around all witches, witch doctors, warlocks, wizards, satanists, sorcerers, and the like, and we break the power of all curses, hexes, vexes, spells, charms, fetishes, psychic prayers, psychic thoughts, all witchcraft, sorcery, magic, voodoo, all mind control, jinxes, potions, bewitchments, death, destruction, sickness, pain, torment, psychic power, satanic new age incense and candle burning, incantations, chanting, hoodoo, witchcraft crystals, root works, and everything else being sent our way, or our family's member's way, or any person also reading this's way. The render every attack of the enemy powerless and bring every worker of wickedness to repentance in Jesus Mighty Name!
Bless each person around me now and those praying this prayer. Lord return back to them SEVENFOLD what the devil has stolen from them today in Jesus mighty name! I bind every attack of the enemy along with every demonic spirit being a hinderance to me, my family or anyone reading this now and cast it back to the pit of hell in Jesus mighty name! May you Lord bring healing to all that need it today and make each person reaching for your soon snatch and return in Jesus mighty name!
